The point......

call your parents.
thats a phrase every sahrdaya student would here atleast once in his 4 years.
where to start...
a friend gave me an incident where 10 of a class where in trouble coz they talked in malayalam during a fresher`s ceremony, but all of the class testified that they wer all talking in malayalam at that incident.but, just like the girls hostel incident,10 student`s parents where called.
and i dont really know what the college think our parent`s jobs are.do they think our parents are wokin in a rabbit-feeding organisation that they can come everysingle time we sneeze and our inabiity to sneeze in english result in rendevouz with the respective EDs...? do they think that our parents are as jobless as they are?that they have posh scorpios to travel in ant that they only have to pluck flowers and put it in the vase at the time of the evening mass..?

every single time!

okey, dear great people who run the college.let me break this to you.everybody in this college is above 18 years of age and the constituition of india, established in 1950 defines every individual above this age as "adults".know wat that means?let me make this simpler to you.it means that they have the brain growth to understand the "even-thought-it-vaguely-feels-like-english-stuff" coming out of your holy mouths.and that every time we forget to wear our ID cards or take a bath during study time, you really dont have to cl our parents.they have much more important stuff to do than schedule my bathing routine.why dont you understand this..if its for something sensible,we can understand...like we slipped and fell..or we are due our date in paying the fees...or we have some really scary disease that you fear would catch on thru the cameras if we look at them.
i recall this incident when a student was asked to call his parents coz he shaved his head.
he shaved his head!dont you get it?what! is there an AICTE guidline that says that every student should have a significant amount of hair on their heads?!or does any company say that they will take students only if they have HAIR?
a parent was called coz his son shaved his head!good god!do i even have to say more about this...??
the authorities are so paranoid of an outburst that they see every bitof action as an act of rebellion.
did they think that we wer going to make a really hard ball out of our hairs and wer gonna throw it at them?

this actually goes wih the pattern of facial hair as well.every time a student goes to the ED2`s room for a signature, and they have a fancy beard or a moustache,or both together,ED2.5 or ED2 ask them if they dont have enuf resources to take that hair off their face.why are both of them so very intimidated by these bodily processes?this is a free country and the English left long back.we have the right to grow or not to grow hair on our bodies!why do you care?its not like we are bruising you with it or something.
so leave our hair alone.if we shave or dont shave, its still gonna grow...
goatees,french,sideburns,hair colour...name them all ...

just imagine wat conversation ED2 and the parent will have wen he calls to inform them that their child is hairless.

left to creativity.

what kind of college do they think are they running?a nunnery?open your eyes! we are normal people who wana have families and children and a life!what in the hell is the problem with you?
engineering is a job that we wanna make money to spent our life.its not life itself.we have other stuff too...like happiness,sadness,anger,love,hatred...we are not diodes.or resisters.that you write a rule for it and when current passes, the graphs all say the same thing.
all the great men of history struggled against these kind of people.
Einstein left school coz the school wouldnt let him express himself.the school wanted him to b what all the books say.i myself cant believe that its 2008 and im still writing about stuff like this.thought this was all over when the normal people got rule into their hands.

i ll tell you.if we are expressionless morons who abide by all the nonsense these people say,and we end up being nothing other than emotionless machines devoid of human feelings, these people will be so damn proud.ill say if their jesus christ,if he was in this world with us,(thank god he is in heaven),he would be SO DAMN ASHAMED OF YOU.when he taught love and forgiveness, these pretentious hyppocrats are preaching "follow hostel rules no matter how stupid they are".

once,i was sitting in the hostel lobby and i was humming and whistling.but then the supervisor asked to stop and he said that humming was prohibited in the hostel during that specific time.(if i remember correctly,it was a 5 oclock in the afternoon.).
but when i thought that it was outrageous, afterwards i came to know that i had disturbed some people.some stray dogs wandering around in the campus had irritation to the frequency of my whistling and had gone mad.i apologize.

okey,if they are following the christ college legacy here, open you eyes.this is a professional college.you dont run the two kind of colleges the same way.

have you observed the dwindling number of male students enrolling in the campus?
according to the current trend, the college authority can call this the first all-girl professional college in the state.they dont even have to take a permission from the govt for it.
the 2007 batch students in the hostel is just 25% of the batch senior to them.think this is an indipendent incident...?

its a dream for me to say the name of the college proudly to people who are asking.but the condition being that they college treats the faculty and the students like kindergarden student who committed a hate-crime against a person of the opposite sex, that dream is far from comin true.what do we have to be proud of?our cameras?our LCD monitors?what?should we be broud that we are given no respect, not even by the staff that are employed to clean the floors...respect is a far call.when they are supposedly paid 10 bucks extra every ID card they confiscate from students who talk in malayalam.(i say, thats pure manipulation),or stand and stare every time a girl talk to a boy, respect is far from happening.ED2,atleast leave the poor ammuma in the BIO block from your sick games.she is old and week already,if you have a little manasakshi, stop making her climb those stairs every time there need to be a dust wiped clean.dont you have your "pink-dressed-multipurpose" employees for the dirty work?(call them the non teaching staff.)

and good luck enrolling the NRI students from states or somewhere here.they call the cops every time their moms shout at them.then you guys wont have to call the cops yourself saying that you have found a weapon of mass communication(cell phone) here.

there is just a lot to write and a lot more time for it.

Love,
V.
