the following article is not fictitious.it has relationship with people,incidences, and buildings that totally exist and not a single word is imaginary.everything you are going to read here,is one hundred percent guaranteed truth.i swear on any one and everyone i know.and i swear to GOD,none of this is exaggeration.i swear.if u feel this is some exaggerated facts,join the club.every single parent of the current student body thinks so.
and,u have some trust issues.

this article is for the benefit of parents who wants a better future for their children,who (the parents) wishes to have a highly paid job in the gulf,Europe or where ever,but most importantly,in infosys,wipro,ibs,us technologies,(heard of it?)("Unnithan Soft wares.U S),that is,thru PLACEMENTS, the cliche after the well familiar cliche of the entrance examinations and the pc thomas coaching center.

this article is the result of the anger inside every single student,and faculty of the "sahrdaya family"
and,i will kill myself if u get me someone from inside the campus who does not agree with anything that i write here.

the reality of what is going on.for the parents who wants to send their kids to this beautiful place.

but there iS a promise that im making.i wont pass any judgments.i might be biased coz i am a victim.so i will lay out all the facts for you.you can judge for yourself.deal....??

to equip the students and train them in global standards....blah blah...

to whip them until they speak English,chain them,to their benches,to their rooms,to their lab equipments,until they study by heart,every single line the teachers project from the hi tech LCD screen even if they have no idea in hell what it really means,so that they will score enuf marks in their internals.and speak very politely to the faculty,of which,most of whom are ex-sahrdaya students as no self respecting professional would agree to work in this GODFORSAKEN HELL HOLE.

GEOGRAPHY

Sahrdaya college of engineering and technology ws established by the diocese of irinjalakuda in the year,2001 and is situated in kodakara,koprakalam to be exact,which can be accessed by taking a left turn from kodakara junction,if u are traveling in kozhikode direction from cochin and a right turn from kodakara junction,from the NH47 if on the way to cochin.
a really remote area,away from any sort of a major commercial establishment,(well,except itself),and hard to access by the public transportation system.(if you ask the security,he will tell you exactly when the next bus is due.)
30 Rs by auto from the kodakara junction and 35 if the auto gets inside the campus.i think this is for the extra strain the auto drivers have to take when they have to get a special form filled up from the gate and to get it signed from the college reception or the supervisors in the hostel.
this goes for every vehicle that gets inside the fortress.(oh my gd! how professionally,these people organize everything,dont you think...??)

but what you really have to think is how bloody pretentious all this is.

WHAT YOU CAN SEE INSIDE.

what if i take you on a tour of our beautiful campus....??

okay,you get inside the gate,after the gruelling one hour process of making the security understand why you want to get inside that place,while he desperately tries to communicate with you in English,even if you have known him since your childhood and he lives beside your house.now you will have with you a form which you have to(refer above).

the building you see in front of you is the Main Block of the boasted infrastructure of the campus.

inside the main block,you can see a "vilakku".(vilakku as in "forbid".)but a lamp,around which,you can see 3 religious books.the story of which will be told afterwards.then,the newly renovated stairs.on the LHS,you can see the reception.and the office on the extreme LHS,beside the stairs.(for the men.)the stairs for women are found on the extreme RHS,beside our placement notice boards,which boasts about students,who are PLACED in different companies.(go check out.you can see my photo too.:))

well,then i dont think you need much introduction on the personality.well,honestly....he is okay.but he is like the queen of england.no powers,no army under control,can do almost....nothing.

worked in GEC thrissur-so the only person in the high rank,who has seen an been to a campus.made of people.and students.and real engineers.but he just cant do anything.reasons-well,u will get it if u read along.but some of the students might also have an opinion that he is as respectable as everyone over there as....no one.
accused of a lot of stuff.but man,i am not making any of those.just read along.you will get a lot of references in this article about him afterwards.we will refer to him as PR.

but wait..the room upstairs has a history that goes back to the beginning of the college.


RECAP-IN BLACK AND WHITE

THE BIRTH OF THE COLLEGE.(HA !. "COLLEGE" ! )

when the diocese felt that they have enuf money to put up a college so that they can suck up a million times more money than they invest from the NRI community,they put the responsibility of this holy act,on a man,a man of principles,who,during a bridge course,said that he had visited a lot of campuses (but i suspect he visited them on holidays coz he had no idea how real world students where.),in order to set up this renowned college.he also boasted about the unique design of this college,which has a significance that it has no closed spaces.ie,lemme make it clear for you.every spot can be seen from everywhere else.he,right during the speech during the bridge course,said that this place was a place of worship.which explains the lamp and the holy books in the lobby.there is another unique specialty in the architecture of this college.
it has no cross- ventilation.this makes the classrooms,lobby and every corridor feel like a Nazi Oven,which they used to burn the jews.the place,trust me,has no flow of air,feels dead,(well,that goes with the general up keeping) and is just bloody hot.i guess the designer missed out on that point,which i think is considered of utmost important in the normal world.but i guess,the management thought,as long as they could always keep an eye(well,in this case,a billion eyes,the hell lot of CMC staff,four state of the art surveillance cameras and high sensitivity microphone)on the students,it dint matter if they could breath,well,cant blame the engineer.with constant nagging from behind if the man could c every student inside the campus from his office,it must have been the hardest project he or she would have had to do.rumor has it that the engineer retired after this project.i even heard once that he was planning on suicide out of depression.


he addressed the students as "friends",which was just an overstatement,whn compared with the relationship that he had with the faculty,students and the non teaching staff.
lets call this character,ED1.incidences involving him will follow.

till 2006,ED1 was the mast3r of the place.but then the management transfered him out into some church and then,ED2 and ED2.5 Comes into the story.so,as of now,the rooms upstairs,above the principal's head,err,i mean room,is occupied by ED2 and ED2.5.

lots of students and faculty cried on the day ED1 left.coz after the function was over,it was pretty late and they couldn't get the bus home,and the girl students where screamed at by their parents for coming home late.
they cried for no other reason.i cried coz it was like 1947.but just like it had happened then,here too,the joy was short lived.

the words of ED1 on that historic day was "i know that you are all happy.you are all wishing and praying that you are gonna be free".
words of ED2 right after that was "we are all god`s children.we all can have that freedom".

really.


so,now its the reign of ED2 and,
i guess now i should talk about him.
he occupies the room with the bravia LCD television which was bought by our money.now he tortures us with it.
when he came to sahrdaya,everyone,and me,hoped things would change.actually,things did change.it got worse.while ED1 was a disciplinarian by nature and heart,this man,is a pretentious person,is just carrying out his dirty work,and has no real talent or the drive to run a college.all that he has got is a rule book with absurd outrageous and on the whole,violation of basic human rights,and a weird imagination that promotes homosexual relationship.coz they sure in hell don't seem happy when a boy talks to girl or vice-versa.
to get a better idea about him,lemme point out some instances and some rules we have in our college.
i repeat.these are not exaggerations.


once,as one of the university examinations were postponed,girl students had asked their parents to call father and ask for gate pass to go home.this is what he said to one of the parents.

"do you know what your daughter is doing here.....?? don't you want her to study..?what have you sent your daughter here for..? do you know how much she has scored in her series tests.??her complaint book is filled.do you know that..?(the offenses that she had committed was 'taking a bath in the time period bw 7 and 11,go to her friends room to take her book back, etc etc),and,do you know how many supplementary exams she has got till now....??????"""

the real deal is,that girl was a 1st year student and how in the hell can she have a bunch of supplies if she has never even written a bloody university exam....?? i guess jesus Christ gave him the gift to see future and he was in a trance while he was talking to the parent.

like many of my friends would agree with me,compared to the present head,losing the first one was a great loss.because ED1 never did anything for the sake of it.he did everything for the good of the institution and never,according to my knowledge has done anything that had screwed up the future of any of his students.he worked day and night for the good of the institution.while the person now in office,took up 3 rooms of the boys hostel,one for himself,one as his office with a computer system with an lcd monitor,and one for ironing his holy precious clothes.
and installed an air conditioning system and is installing a lift in the main lobby just for himself and his white clad servants for god al mighty using the money that we gave,while we have to wait and wait for him to come back from his inspecting the "WAZHATHOTAMS" with his right hand care taker,who apparently acts like he rules the college and even taken up the authority to mock and ridicule and treat students like sh*t and the responsibilities he has is taking care of the luscious vegetation in the campus.i hope everyone would have seen this guy that im talking about-he is always with ED2 when he is outside taking care of his bananas ,but there was this one incidence were 2 students had to bring their parents from a real long distance coz the had taken a vazhakola from the campus.,while the impression we had about the campus was that it was our second home and they were just doing what they or anyone would do at home.well...home sweet home..
what is written above is nothing but the truth.
wait for more true stories,conversations,incidences,and rules about ED2.

do you want your son or you daughter to grow into a useless meat loaf,who has no sense of self,or maturity to take decisions,or the guts to face the world,or the real knowledge of how to maintain a family,or any useful leadership quality,or the will to live a happy life?

do you just want them to have a degree certificate...? and no personality or happiness?
no ability to respond to injustice and just has the abilty to bear with wat ever injustice they are put up with..?? who has no good friends,no good friends of opposite sex,no emotional maturity,no abilty to handle real problems of life..?
just a bloody degree certificate....?? god!! open your eyes to what is going on! for your child`s sake!!

if this is too much for you to handle,or still dont have the ability to believe these facts,dont waste your time.go surf some sites where they tell you how to call from gulf to other countries cheaply.

u think this is just for 4 years....??
this might be the last four years of your child`s educational life.and the last time i checked out the books of fact,it was thatU JUST GET ONE FREAKIN LIFE.SO DONT SEND HIM/HER TO THIS PRISON.I WASTED MY FOUR YEARS HERE.so please make a difference in your child`s life.
there is nothing special with this college,except about the things mentioned here.
we dont have outstanding or even good faculty.we dont have extra ordinary infrastructure.what u get materiastically here is what you get everywhere else.and you get a lot more everywhere else.
no special placements,no good faculty.only white clad dictators waiting to suck the life out of your child the moment you exit the campus payin 2.5 lacks or 6000$s.
the faculty you have here is the antonym of being student friendly.well,cant blame them after what they are suffering coz the management treats them like they are thier slaves.ill take this back if any of the faculty disagrees with me.
but the faculty still treat the students like they are fools.and offers no constructive help other than projecting thier precious notes.
that is engineering here.copying down notes,mugging them up.vomiting them onto pper.
i wasted my professional education life here.while i decided to spend the life in my master degree course in a real college run by able people,with real students,where i wont be controlled by even the people the college hired to sweep the floors.
yeah.by saying they make you global engineers,they demean you,ruin you,torture you,treat you like criminal.
while the only crime that i could remember i had done was to opt this college at the councelling.

the literal revolution has begun against these Hippocratic fascists.

now,it would be just unfair if i don't start writing about the stone structure for female convicts.at least we are treated that way there.
every time we enter the building,we have to submit the hostel ID cards at the entrance.also,our guardian angel in the green uniform has the right to restrict entry for us into the building even though he has seen us entering there everyday everyday.so if we forget the card sometimes,what ever,we may have to...
lemme introduce to the characters who "take care" of us like we are their own daughters.that much is the care they have for our academics,our religious life as well as our personal life.
they are QUEEN BEE(QB),AND SERVANT BEE1 AND 2.
queen bee is the all in all.the judge,jury and executioner.
my heart is pounding,my hands shiver.were do i start when talking about this wonderful blessings...these holy women,who sacrificed everything earthly in service of god and humanity.these epitomes of love,affection and care.these inspirational creatures who made the ultimate sacrifice.
but did they...?
they strip us off our emotional selves.


QB has the right to get into any of our rooms,any bathroom we are bathing in,and any friends place we are going to.err....who the hell gave her the last right...?? i mean...i know who gave her the first two...she walks around in the old block of the hostel,spending significant amount of time behind evey door,listening to the conversation gin inside.wow.she does have a satisfying life..

just like the concept employed in the construction of the college buildings,as once ED1 himself stated this,"these 5 star prisons",are made in the manner of "see all".we have a questionable number of windows.but a very few useful ones.the rooms are swelteringly hot.there is no cross ventilation here too.get inside the hostel,there you go...all steaming up.

oh,i almost forgot about something.as we are so totally not supposed to talk to our male counterparts,we are supposed to return to our cells at least by 6 45,as we can manage being out of the stone walls by keeping ourselves in the digital library or snack bars,and it is considered as one of the prime sins of youth,when you talk to somebody in your class about the nest day`s nlab work the day`s rough records,it is a crime that can even cause our dear parents to come down here from kozhikode or kasargode,or where ever they ar,but there are uses group of people who has full access into our hostel,let it be day or night or early in the morning or the end of day.the construction workers,and the free masons,the knights of shrdaya.the CMC staff.in what ever clothing position we are in,-cloth-wise,now we are not even surprised if we see a blue-loathed man walks past our windows.the QB has given them the keys to the palace(metaphorically),and there is nobody hu can stop them if they watch us standing around in our privates even in our toilets..hey,but if they are restricted to enter the hostel,who are gonna fix our fans,and lights,and pipes...!!
how sad they can find a time when ALL THE GIRLS would be in here.
dear parents...although the general population of nuns MIGHT come in the good book of god,majority of them,ARE GOING TO ROT IN HELL.just because they are wearing those clothes,or a cross,or pick flowers for the evening rosary,they might be,they just might be,screwing us over ourselves.sorry for the foul language.
and do you know that thos one incident,when one of the student went and complaint about some men disturbing them,the QB took the man`s side....??

HOW CAN YOU LET YOUR CHILD SUFFER THIS...?? DONT YOU LOVE HER AT ALL...!!!YOU CARE IF SOME STRANGE GUY LOOKS AT HER,IN THE BUS,BUT WHEN SHE IS TORTURED DOWNRIGHT,YOU JUST STAND THERE AND LET THIS WHITE CLAD HYPOCRATS SIT THERE,COMFORTABLY,WITH THEIR INCREDIBLY HIGH CREDIBILITY FACTOR..??

once upon a time,we could all go home evry week.that one day of normal life was our silver lining,
but then,dear QB had a vision ,when god almighty appeared in her dream and let the light shine on her head,and said that "my dear angel QB,if you let the girls hu are nearby go home,then wont that make the girls gu are far away from this place feel bad and lonely.??"
well,if that happened or not,the next day,she announced that we get parrols only once a month,during second Saturdays....hows dat..!

we coudlnt let it go...we just snapped..
well,what happened is history.
but what not everyone knows is what the parents were told wen they were called into the college(well,the parents of 28 selected few....(ring any bells..? does it in any way remind you of kalapani..??)...
but everyone knows that no body threatened to kill QB,all though we would have loved to...)..but QB,reported to her dear friend ED2,tht she was called really dirty names,and was threatened to be killed.
and we even had to say sorry to her DOOR coz some girls kicked on to it,when QB ran into her room and wouldnt come out to talk,during the kharao.

well,when every girls parent was called into the room above PR`s head,this one conversation they had...

what a way to talk to a student`s parent....where the hell was he educated.....??!!!

open your eyes,....the reason that they wanted to go home was coz they wanted to be with thier family.and is that something so hard to understand....?

here is what QB said to one of the girls wen she found out that what had gone off in the girls hostel was known by the boys.

wat a beautiful person...what a model...what a shoulder to cry on...


stop trying to make up better individuals.
the college like this trying to do something like that is like a blind man trying to draw the taj mahal.you cannot make something if you dont know what it really is.and you just dont know.


next time ill tell you how a sister was sent home,when she was framed of theft,by QB.
oh,why should i....everybody knows...
and they worst part is.....they arent even ashamed that they are this cheap.


i want to thank everyone who has been taking interest in my work,and also,in letting me know of your support and giving me pointers,and letting me know of their experiences,and feelings about the issues said here.
before i begin something,i want to make an apology to you all.its coz,one thing in my script posted on day 1 was not totally true.ED2 has not taken up 3 rooms in the hostel for his use.not any more.
he has two rooms,and like one of my very dear friend let me know,now he uses the area near the staircase for ironing his clothes-a ceremony for which staff come from outside the hostel everyday morning.the socket near the staircase was refitted entirely for this purpose.this was something i watched in first person.
at one point in time,two of the students where asked to shift rooms so the when the new students arrived,ED2 could retain the room for ironing purposes.well,that day,word spread fast about this.

one other thing that i wanted to share.the sole point of this community and this venture is to bring out the improper and outrageous way,the faculty and the students are treated by the college authority.my intentions are not to criticize them as persons,to share gossips or cheap romours about them,nor to insult them in any improper way,as, whatever the condition may be,there are still our teachers,and my father tought me that,they reached that position for a reason.so we should respect them.but,i told him,i would respect them if they would earn it,by showing us that they are in those positions they are sitting not out of any other reasons,than pure hardwork and talent.

I like what my placement trainer taught me,
there is nothing more important than current affairs.
"cant take leave on mondays.especially for hostellers."
good thing that i sent a mail to all my friends in the disease-death-accident causing factors,not to come and harm me on a sunday coz my college does not allow me to take leave on a monday.they(college people) suspect that i just get lazy on a monday morning and decide not to come to college.well,there is a huge chance i would do that coz the leave-taking procedure is so simple that one would just love to take leave even if its such an over-lookable function as one`s sister`s wedding.monday...cant take leave.i have to admit that these people continue to amuse me as the days go...and they never get tired.
i have always wondered.50 Rs for an un authorised leave.
a student pays around 50 000 every year.200 days of working.250 rs(minimum) per day.

we take a day off,we pay another 50.(if on that day,something catastrophic didnt happen).
and,i pity my faculty(not the ones who graduated from here),if its such a mountanous job for us to take a leave,how many forms do you guys have to fill out when you take one...??i guess you would have to give atleast a weeks notice to take a leave if you have plans to catch a cold,dont you...how i wish we were equipped with the far sightedness ED2 was blessed with...but u know...not everyone are god`s beloved...
give me the name of another institution in the country wer they are this inhuman to staff and students.i will take this back.when i say institution,i dont mean any correction facility,or a lunatic asylum.but an educational institution.not for the antisocial or anything,or for the special students,but one for the normal students who has normal parents,and normal mental pattern.

and talking of current affairs..i will have to bring another favorite person in the campus into the limelight...
the person who is always in the library but never seen once touching a book,......
he is..JN.
he is an example that shows that you dont have to have the qualification to be a librarian.a vocabulary for an English speaker,or any knowledge to be incharge of the quiz club..but you can be pretty bad at them all...
he is just like bill gates....in NO way.

but why should i be writing about him if he doesn't affect the students at all..
oh,he affects the students alright..and even affects the faculty.
he has nor the qualification or the experience to advice the administrator of an engineering college.but still he even sit on our principal sir`s head...and advices ED2 on new rules.


he has more authority than the principal,or any other educated faculty.infact.he is the 3rd most powerful man in the campus.after ED2.
just thought of mentioning about him once.mor about him will come.

"kannullappol athinte wilayariyilla " enna pole...when ED1 was here,everyone was dead tired of him.but now that we have someone worse,who has no idea what the hell is going on and has a permanent state of 'bewilderment' on his face,we all...and so including me..just have all praises for ED1 but i think,we,and so including me,praised him about the things that we praise about him now,we praised him then too.dont you think so too?
as per my knowledge..ED1 worked 6 hard months to pick up English.this guy looks like he is working hard too...
(im just putting in this coz of public opinion...:).personally,i think his messages in the morning are really inspiring.

dear management,if you want companies to take more students from your college,just dont let our ED2 talk a lot to them when they come here.just let him have a tea with them,say hellos,and then take him away to the room with the screen so that he can return to doing his personal errands.trust me.it will work.


when ED1 was there,the faculties recruited wer top-notch.
wen i was attending my bridge course,i was really excited wen thinking about attending classes under them.but then,after he left,they just started flakin away..all the good ones are going now.i think its safe to predict that within 6 months,all the 'worthy-to-attend" classes will be gone.like one of my dear friend pointed out to me,now the requirement for recruiting looks like-

religion-RC christian
language-preferably no malayalam and ablilty to construct sentences successfully in english in less than 2 minutes.
sense of freedom-nil
self respect-nil
want for prospects in career(in other words,ambition) - nil

abilty to press the "next button",and the abilty to move a mouse is a must.(to operate power points).

preference to pass out students-as they wont have to take the two month training in
"how to be a completely useless creativity-less moron.".


it seems like the only thing the ex-sahrdaya student faculty community knows is to ask questions.you go into the lab,they start asking you questions.you dont answer,they prove to you that you are a completely useless person,and send you outside asking you to learn and return.
when you ask them a question about something that you are doing in the lab,they give you a look like "what the hell are you asking me for!you are supposed to know all that!",well,if in hell we knew all that,we wouldn't be coming there in the first place,would we!why did they appoint you as "faculty" for god`s sake!at least try to prove that you aren't completely worthless and thats why you are working here!
i can prove it to you that its of totally of no use to ask a faculty a doubt.mostly in the lab.
the most probable responses will be-you have to know that,i will refer and tell you,let me go ask (name of the senior teacher),or if its not any of these responses,they will do something to make you think that the question you have asked is a huge foolishness,or that such a question has never been asked in the technical world.
i will take this back if any of you have spent one whole hour of lab without wondering why the hell you are sitting there.or,more probably,why the hell the faculty is sitting there.


in US,almost 100 million $ is paid as compensation for mental harassment charges.

sahrdaya college of engineering and technology owes 900 students and 100 faculty 10 times the amount of money.

principal sir,why bear the indignity?all students understand your position and admire your patience.
why let these obsolete scum eat you up?we all love your son too.he is a sweetheart.down to earth and everything,but we just cant understand why U are doing this.or,are you like,you are doing this only until your son graduate or something like that?still,sir...you have all these experience,and education..why let these inexperienced people with no idea in god`s heaven how to handle an engineering college make you look like a puppet...?sir,you are a man with dignity,if you were my father,i wouldnt make you work another day in this college,and i would go do some street job if i have to so that you wouldnt have to bear this indignity.but no...dont leave us in the hand of these people...we wouldnt last a dat,if we dint have even you.at least...you are a model for us.if you can bear them,with your life experience and everything,very well we should too...
but sir,we just cant.
and...sir,its okay to take the students side at least once in a case when you are absolutely sure about it.they wouldn't fire you at least without asking a show cause notice for that.would they?
i dont know...

i could go on in the general sense of writing,but being specific was what i thought everyone wants me to...depending upon my feedback.thats why the change of pace.

i want to thank a lot of people for their feedbacks.most of the postings today are based on them.
