With time,money and the apparently obvious incompetence of the managing body,Sahrdaya College of Engineering and technology has comedown to a level of a "cult",where,a student.from his day of enrollment in the college,is forcefully trained into a meat-loaf,useful,just enough to be recruited into a software firm,and nothing more..i will explain the "process" through which a student is molded into this here.after the admission into the college,the students are to sit for a "moral cleansing process",that the management has named as the bridge course.this is the most effective class that the student can get all through out his four years in the college.and this isnt because of the quality of this class,but because of the lack of quality of the remaining classes.whatever they might tell you this classes are for,the only thing that these classes do is ,convince you that the most important purpose of education,is to "get placed".the eminent personalities who are invited by the human resource department here are English teachers on leave from gulf,or retired from duty sitting at home minding their own business or their gardens.its totally obvious that they themselves dont want to do what they are doing.and,to the students who have come passing the CBSE,ISCE or the Kerala state Higher Secondary exams,a class on 8th std English classes,which would hopefully help us in communicating more effectively in English,which we all students thankfully rate "excellent",and "highly effective".but this actually is not the point of this classes.then comes the interesting part.Then,we are asked to sit in a class of an official,who claims to have landed from Singapore,the day before,(and this he says everyday),where,he had gone to take class for the staff of LG,SAMSUNG,SONY and other international companies we can think of.and,in his highly informative class,he tries to convince the girl students that "the only reason a male classmate calls her up at home,to ask her a doubt is because he is in love with her",and tries to convince the male students that "it is natural to stare at the poster of the A rated movie,and is abnormal for anyone not to think so".and through this,he is somehow convinced that he can make out "professionals" out of us.then,there was this other person,who asked us to be "kings of our own empires",who got fired from the college,when he was accused of "inviting students to his home for private tuitions".the only silver lining was Fr.Joy Nellissery,who was once asked by the diocese to take charge of the college,and apparently,the only qualified,motivated and exposed person in the diocese,able enough to head a professional institution.but he turned down the offer and is known to have said that he would run the college in a very different manner,and this wasn't actually something the diocese could digest.now,Fr Joy takes up Moral science classes for all the classes of the college.the only class we can be "ourselves",where we wouldnt be judged,ridiculed or shut up.

Just how vast this world is,and what all we can become,are never really known to a sahrdaya student.and,such kind of thoughts are really hard to pass through the mind of the student,when the only thought that he or she might have have is "hell with this place,i just wanna get out of here completing the four years".even though the principal claims that the college is "encouraging the student to take part in an outside competition",how much really are they helping for this....?
Yes,we have all the resources,but is there an atmosphere where we can utilize the m properly?every good college has their libraries functioning till at least 10 pm.and sahrdaya is where there wouldnt be a problem even if it functions till 12,but it shuts down at 7,for god-knows-who`s convenience.and there is no way in hell that one can convince the principal or the ED,(who might not even know when the library is functioning up to),to extend this time so that the hostelers could make more use of it.the classes get over at 5,and there is hardly enough time to go grab a bite and come back,and how much can we refer in 1.5 hours?okey,you say that there are students who still make good use of it.but can you think of how many more could use it properly..?? only if we have the freedom enough to choose when to go the library and use it...!if there was enough freedom of action in the college,how good life will be...if rules are made for the benefit of the student,and not to make running this college easy,how well could we have utilized this multi-crore worth facility!......



for the last years hostel day,principal`s speech was one that was trying to convince us that theses ridiculous rules here are actually a good thing.but it sounded more like he was trying to convince himself.he said,these rules are so that we could appreciate the freedom that we are going to get after we graduate.so that we will know how to make proper use of the freedom that we are going to get.but i thought that usually happened during undergraduate courses...now,i havent heard a lame-er justification since i heard that murder of thousands of innocent civilians in Iraq was for the good of their future.who`s future?usually,when a student gets out of a professional institution,he comes out self depended,self sufficient,skilled,knowledgeable and able.but like the management is mocking us on what we are going to become,they are actually throwing at our faces,by recruiting our own seniors,as a model of "how you should not graduate.."their level of technical skill and scientific knowledge is mind blowing...their attitude and grace is un imaginable...thank you dear management..and congratulations..you could actually convince you to work here..oh,but there wasnt much to convince now,was there...but be careful..if Paul Allen or somebody else found out that these kind of potential are there in sahrdaya college,they would come and snatch them away from your hands..(and dear ex-student-now-ad`hoc-stuck-here-faculty,if you just got insulted at what i said now,then,be happy that its exactly about you that i said just now.we all know that you dont even know the basics of engineering.so stop pretending that you just won a genius-grand from Harvard,get yourself some books,read,and start learning the trade,then get out of here and live with some dignity ,or you'l find yourself aged 50,not married,no where in career and still surfing monster.com)...or you can continue the sacred trade of "changing the powerpoint slides".that will do too.so that we can all live a satisfying life,cursing ED under our breaths when he passes by and keep "paying our dues"...oh,dont have a feeling that im blaming you...i know...you can only eat what you are served..so its not your fault...but,im blaming you for showing an attitude to your students as if you have qualified to do research work in CERN,just cos you got to hang out with "senior" faculty in the majestic dining hall,or in the staff room or where-ever the ad-hoc id cards will take you.so,show some respect.to us,atleast.if not to yourself.asking dumb VIVA questions that you yourself dont know the answer for(ofcourse you know what is written as the answer in the lab manuals,but do you know what exactly that means?),does not actually make you respectable in our minds.so we are mocking you behind your backs.be very sure of that.but not everybody is blessed with this mindset.there are others who know who they are and what they are.we respect you.its the other croud im talking about...

Now certain things that faculties have to bear in SCET
THE WORKLOAD
accg to Mr Joseph all faculties here are underworked !!!! They hav hardly got the AICTE working hours not more!! Well Mr Joseph this is the point wr I doubt whether U hav ever taught in GEC, Thrissur!! Taking an hr of class = 3 hrs of preparation; now taking an assumption that ur faculties are all genius's they still need 1 hr to prepare which means 1 hr = 2 hrs of work! (the 2nd hr is conviniently not accounted); a tutorial hr is considered 1/2 an hr (Does this mean only half a human being need to stay in the room?) A lab hour is again 1/2 an hour of work (Agreed if thr r sufficient staff in the lab; now thr s a particular category of staff called lab assistant (I gs each lab has 2) in GEC;
Now this was all about the accounted workload, thr s unaccounted work....
1. study gp activities (students might feel that ur animators literally wd be sitting for such things w/o much participation, think abt their mindset, anything that is made to do on compulsion wd only look like that! Moreover 2005-2006 period probably was wn such activities wr arranged by ppl w/o any commonsense. Imagine an engr college student having a GD on "Science is a Boon"; a product marketing on water bottles and a skit on "love ur neighbours"!! Faculties do have some dignity which they adorn by being not active!
2. Project discussion: Only uneducated ppl wd say that a project guide need to just sit and listen! U claim originality and innovation at this level w/o even giving time to think abt wot s to b done... tooo bad! U talk about concentrating on project and write projects for funding when u can hardly concentrate on one project wn there are 12-13 gps under u! U talk about winning in project competitions wn u can hardly think about an original idea... Faculties are not idea generating machines and with the level of experience that faculties over here have, forget an idea, they hardly know to refer to a research journal!

3. Extra curricular activities... 4-5 is a gr8r pain in the "what-so-ever place" for faculties as for students! Imagine the concentration and dedication anyone would have after 6 hours of mntal engagement!! we are HUMAN BEINGS not MACHINES
4. Saturdays: Never gets accounted on the workload!! (As if thr s a compulsion on free service!). Thank God the church has a mass on sunday!! Else faculties wd hav to forget that they do have a family as well

THE EVALUATIONS
Faculites are being "evaluated" at various levels - students, peers and management! the funniest part is the results are being tabulated at Bihar!! Thr r a few faculties who r branded excellent (and thr r obvious reasons y they r; the students evaluation if taken as it is, would silhoutte a completely different picture), ppl who they do not want to stay are branded satisfactory or not satisfactory from their ratings (and funniest part is thr wr faculties who wr rated good n the first yr and not satisfactory in the next yr, cause that becomes a good enuf justice for throwing them out!).
The worst part of this drama is that the so called grades are read out in public (which is usually not done in any place of work), forget motivating ur staff, y demotivate if some are really keen on this profession!

THE JOB SECURITY
Hrd of anything like this? None of us (save 2 or 3) have felt such a thing exists

THE SERVICE RULES
If it exist, different for different individuals!! (BUT they proclaim aloud that AICTE rules are followed)!. If there s any cry for justice, u r made to shut up with a singular statement "Management decision, follow or quit".
Two years of probation - does it take so much of time to assess an individual? If so it is only ur inefficiency! Salary - not in dungeons but not so much to be happy either!!
Written rules? Never, it is all convinience of time!

And finally thr is a difference of approach u shd adopt to treat the educated individuals who is taking their time and knowledge to educate your children and in the way you treat the casual labours who work on ur farmland! (ED2 is far far far better in this respect)

THE CONFIDENCE
No other place of work wd be as saddist a place as SCET is... If u do not have a confidence about the people that u r hiring y bother run an institution like this?
Faculties have to prove their credibility each day each hour on a duty report (you aint paying any of us on an hourly basis), it was enough till last month that you had to sign on the register twice a day (again not applicable to all, u wd hav noticed select faculties comin n leavin at their own convinience); now u hav to mark ur presence wt ur thumb. Hello thr s no decent conveyance available to this hell hole to jump in and jump out of our conviniences! Why bother such a strict vigil then?

LEAVES
12 casual leaves per year which goes into thin air as parties announce harthals.... If thr s a single faculty w/o a loss of pay in a year... it simply means " Man u seriously need a psycho consultation; Thr is something called life!"

STAFF MEETINGS
Should be made to call staff announcements cause a meeting is wn u hav an exchange of ideas! Not wn it is a unidirectional communication nor wn U are mocked at for having opinion! Intelligent ppl observe s rule of thumb - "Silence is Golden". Well dear Mr Joseph, ur colleagues keeping quite and listening to u is only because they are forced to attend and because they have good patience!! (I wd like to recollect one incident here once; he threatened to leave the meeting and go from the institute if faculties would not vocally agree to his rule on the language stuff. Faculties kept mum and he had no option but leave; thanks to the staff secretary who saved his face on that day).

STAFF TOURS
Any tour for that matter is appreciated wn it is not compelled! When ur leave is gone for not attending, who the hell wd not join? It is not because we want to, U keep such events during vacations; there r staff from far off places who get to see their beloved ones or get time to spent wt them and are waiting for one? Any sane person wd want his family first

HIGHER EDUCATION
U want ur staff to have a better degree!! And look at the conditions u put for that!! Well u shd be contended wt the correspondence MTechs and Sunday school PhDs that your "beloved" staff bring to u! Even u get higher degrees on good payments, dont have to attend classes nor got to do any thesis :) Well b proud abt ur staff who-ever is doing so! Any one who respects his dignity and has the calibre for a good degree wd only quit or stay under educated! Education for the sake of it is not what is expected from a teacher to be frank!

PROMOTIONS
As per one of the promoted faculty "Only crying babies get milk"! Well dignity is something that cd be inherited or acquired! Any self respecting individual wd quit (ample examples) before they have to bend their knees to get what they deserve! Now thr s also another side to this coin!! Thr r also examples of dignitaries who have threatened the management for a higher post (doesnt work all time)

GETTING SPIED
Yes we too are!! Here again thr r appointed members of the supporting-staff who r engaged in spying at wot out of the world things faculties do!! Dear corporates, too cheap a trick and pls do it wt some finesse, send them atleast to some acting classes!! Their spying us is right on our face!!

Just to let u know how annoying u are to begin with.

First of all let me tell the readers what the faculties in this college have to put up with…..This is for students, faculties, outsiders and if luck is on our side, AICTE members….

From a faculty to ED2(2)
BTECH HOLDERS
- Are called Lecturers
- Have to handle 2 labs and one subject.
- EXTRA WORK ALLOTTED IN THIS COLLEGE:
- Have to take care of labs that are allotted to them
- Have to do the work of grade1 and grade2 lab assistants.
- Have to engage tutorial hours.
- Have to animate a group of 20 students,
- write down their personal and professional details in a book
-Conduct group activity on all Fridays.
- Do the extra work that is allotted to each faculty
Eg: Exam cell work, Association in charge, Camera in charge,
discipline in charge, Series test paper collection, Seminar in
Charge, project in charge for each batch etc
- Guide 2 to 3 groups of project groups from each batch.
- Take responsibilities on all auspicious days and functions in college.
- Exam duty for series test and university exams.


From a faculty to ED2(3)
MTECH HOLDERS
- Are called Assistant Professors.
- Have to handle 2 subjects and 1 lab
- Sometimes made the HOD or HOD in charge if no other PhD holders are
there in the department. They have to be there from 9 to 5.
- EXTRA WORK ALLOTTED IN THIS COLLEGE:
- Have to engage tutorial hours.
- Have to animate a group of 20 students,
- write down their personal and professional details in a book
-Conduct group activity on all Fridays.
- Do the extra work that is allotted to each faculty
Eg: Magazine in charge, College union in charge, discipline in charge.
- Guide 2 to 3 project groups from each batch.
- Exam duty for series test and university exams.

From a faculty to ED2(4)
TESTING OF TOLERANCE LEVEL
- No good training given before joining. No good senior faculties to ask for help or
guidance with the subject because everybody just wants to leave this place after
completing one year of service. The common welfare fund that is deducted every
month from our salary will be returned only after completing one year of service
- Have to manage a lab without a lab assistant.
- Shouted at if classes are left free.
- Expected to be punctual in every class even if authorities come late for every
Staff meeting.
- Shouted at in front of the staff if we say any valid point or suggestion.
- We have to attend every staff tour whether we want to or not and forced to laugh at the vulgar jokes and comments passed at us by the so called ED in “thani thara malayalam”.

- Given 12 casual leaves which are not considered on the days of hartal or public bandhs. After that loss of pay.
- Reduction of DA from 55% to 20% when basic pay increased as per AICTE rules.

- On top of this without talking to us or having a discussion, a circular comes around that we have to buy a 50 Rs stamp paper on which in our handwritings we have to agree to the terms and conditions as follows:

- “I hereby declare that I am happy with my work here and do not wish for any increment in salary. I am satisfied with the remuneration that I get from this college. I hereby agree to follow all the rules and regulations of the college without questioning the authorities”

- Amidst all of this we are expected to take our MTECH and PhD within 5
years of service so that we can live and die here in this college with angel’s blessings. For God’s sake we have our families to take care of at home. We expect better increments and salaries for our work and performance. Don’t you people know
that certain things will change with time?






SOME OF THE + POINTS FROM ALL THIS
- Thanks a lot for not allotting us the work of securities in the college.
- We learned to be 1000 times better tolerant individuals. We at least
have the courtesy not to do the same treatment to our students.
- We learned how to avoid the authorities as much as possible.
- Learned how to glue our tongues inside and keep quite even if we have a
suggestion to make. What an atmosphere to exchange ideas and views
openly and in a healthy manner! There are so many who listen around here.
- Some of us learned how to disobey the rules as much as the students try
to do.
- Yes there will be lots of changes the next year. Almost half of the
faculties will leave and new ones will arrive.
- We learned how not to take what the so called Executive director is saying
too seriously and leave all the work in the responsible hands of our
principal. Believe it or not, he’s the only one good around here. We truly
believe that it would benefit us if we listen to him. I thank u sir for showing
some amount of humanly response towards us.

Hats off to u. You have acquired some of the good qualities of ED1. Now
we miss him a lot in this campus. Maybe because he is still praying for us
somewhere far away that this college still has its name. He was one of a kind.

More Faculty - WE ARE WITH YOU
KEEP UP THE WOPRK- BLESSINGS OF ALL FACULTY IS WITH YOU!!!

No Medical benefits/ESI/ No maternity benefits

No PF as per Government sanctioned rates. They do not allows us to withdraw and do not deposit to Government PF hence the faculty does not get any Income tax benefits

No holidays. For AICTE purposes they say they give us 4 weeks but you can take only 14 days INCLUDING Saturday and Sunday!!! Rest can be claimed after five years at half the salary value !! Who wants to claim....who has stayed for five years...give us our 4 weeks!! (GEC, Trichur gets 2 months and IIT faculty gets 3 months other private engineering colleges get 4 weeks to 6 weeks paid holidays)
Sahrdaya salary is nowhere as good as other colleges now. And so many faculties ahve gone to other colleges as they get better salary/ less tension/ more holidays and less work/ NO stupid Group Discussion daily work report and other forms of demeaning faculty as the management here does

The ONAM Bonus- Non Existent. For Christmas a 100 rupee saree / 75 ruppee shirt piece or curtain material given wrapped by the bishop or ED2!! Thank you SOOOOOO much!!

Faculty meeting are announcements. No one is bothered about improving the college or education.

No elder faculty has EVER stayed here. No retired faculty stays in Sahrdaya ..why..they are SOOO bad. Every engineering collegein kerala has got experienced, retired staff. No one has come or has satyed with the stupid management here!!!.. Very soon only old students will teach here. And the average age inS ahrdaya of faculty is 23. And 85% girls or married ladies who do this as part-time work as no serious career man will stay for the foolish laws here.
Unlike ED1 now ED2 has no concern for getting better lab facilities or improving facility. ONLY landscaping and other nonsense!! This college is for education not for landscaping!!

Evaluation...for a change why cant we evaluate the MANGEMENT anonymously !! They are too frightened and cannot take ANY form of criticism!!!

the difference that i felt (from a faculty persp.)
i'll give an account of the difference that i felt b'ween sahrdaya n the current college that im working(College of Engg. Munnar). i'd typed this 1 yr back. now im just cutting n pasting. this was typed in nov2006.


the difference i feel b'ween sahrdaya n here is that here apart fm academics, both management n students don't expect anything else fm us.
faculties rarely get to see principal. they mostly deal with HoDs.
work time is fm 9am-4pm. but, if need arise we can leave a bit early or arrive a little late. also we can leave for maybe paying gas bill or electricity bill n return back after 1/2 hrs. sat/sun holiday.
therz only 2 series tests here, n during those days classes r suspended with each series test consuming 5 days (ie, 2 exams per day), which actually makes series test conduction n faculty allocation a very easy job. as each series test is for 2 hrs, the questions r invariably of a better standard than at sahrdaya.

the difference that i felt (from a faculty persp)2
if at all therz extra work during sat/sun, like conducting of lab series test, which i did 2 weeks back, we are entitled to take compensatory leave on a working day. we can take a working thu/fri as leave n take a 4-day rest at home. in sahrdaya, such a thing is given depending on the faculty. for eg, if a newcomer asks 4 compensation leave, itz immediately rejected. & no faculties r entitled to get compensation for going with students on tour on sat/sun at sahrdaya.
here all govt. holidays r given as leave. apart from that for onam/x'mas etc we're entitled to 10-day holiday alongwith students.
apart from all these, we're entitled to 2 month vacation during may/june unlike the 14-day vacation thatz given as a pittance at sahrdaya (that too on a split basis). but, ive seen many faculties at sahrdaya not availing the vacation, thus giving an impression to management that vacation is not needed for faculties.

the difference that i felt (from a faculty persp)3
apart from all these, all faculties n employees here at members of CEMEU (College of Engg Munnar Employees Union), affiliated to CITU, thr' which faculties hav the right to collectively bargain n organize for their rights, unlike at sahrdaya where the management is the main constituent of Staff Welfare Fund which is said to have been formed for the welfare of faculties, but actually controlled by the management through some unmarried female science/maths stream faculties who in the long term is more detrimental to other faculties than the management.
n, then there is no faculty orientaion programme organized during holidays here. but, therz a yoga practice session for faculties after 4pm. but, participation in that is optional. non-participation in anything is not considered as a crime unlike there.
apart from all these, the main advantage is varied profile of students. students here r not confined to a specific region or diocese or community, which is the case there (which enabled the management at sahrdaya to create a wedge between students n faculties by giving an impression to students that faculties r their servants). as faculties here don't interfere in matters of students here, therz a better respect for faclties, so far as ive seen.

the good points of sahrdaya (that i felt)
but, that is not to say that there r no good points at sahrdaya.
one of the very good point was that faculties don't hav 2 worry about anything like opening a bank account or tax calculation (n paying) or being served tea at regular intervals or taking photostat (here, itz not free or personal purpose) or facility-wise (like projectors in all classes, automated attandance registering process). sahrdaya has 4 branches compared to 3 here (remember that sahrdaya has just 5 yrs of track-record to 7 yrs here). the total bulk of the college is more in case of sahrdaya (maybe b'coz sahrdaya can charge exhorbitantly high capitation fees for payment seats compared to CEM which can only charge the fee prescribed by govt.).
i was just mentioning a few differences b'ween the 2 colleges.

another difference that i felt
this is regarding orkut usage.
most of the students here at CEM, when they create an orkut profile invariably give the photo of their face on their profile.
but, at sahrdaya, they give only after passing out of the college.
ie, when they study at sahrdaya, they tend to see themselves as faceless, anonymous creatures, who don't have any identity.
u can see the users of this community. how many have given their real names n photo on their comments? in fact none. n, that include faculties.

Der ws anothr incident last week in our HELL...D s6 CS students hu got placed in various companies decided 2 giv der clasmates a treat....So as part of d treat....des ppl collectd som money n orderd som items from outside....As per d order d items wer brought to d colege by d delivery party in a vehicle n as usual wer al ppl get stuck up,d vehicle got stuck up nr d giant entrance....d main gate.Preceding d arrival,rear permision ws taken frm d princ by d studnts...Bac2d giant entrance d ED2's dogs cald up him...n askd4permision...bt din alow !! Students wn wnt 2 princ,he askd2meet ED2...ED2 says like dis.."dear students,its nice to treat ur friends but d friends,hu didn get placed,ders a chance 4 arousing complex in dem,on havng d treat..So i wont alow !!"....Insted f alowng d vehicle to enter d col,it ws snt bac smwer 2 a missionery 4 d poor !!!
So hei ED2 @ tyms has hs fud frm hs office n dat too seated on a chair...n v ppl stand n hv our fud frm d canteen n snaks bar(n incase v sit on d slab in d snaksbar our ID Cards r taken n gvn to d front office....).So v mst also hv complex dat v r nt able to sit n eat !

ed1 had once told us that maximum time is wasted when ur eating
we never believed him until we saw it being practically done by ed2
hell i dont kno how he has his lunch or breakfast
but he never misses dinner( hihehi....)
WOW he starts dinner even beofre the girls reach & ends during the boys arrival
heard sometimes even after the boys have had their dinner
hell he must be havig some problm with his jaws cos they never seem to chew properly
he even got the canteen to prepare noodles(although they havn quite learnt how to)
he also orders off(bans) shakes and juices whenever he feels he had more shakes than he should have(or wen he has heard more than one prson complain of stomach pain)
hell ,he has nearly taken all our baisc rights

also Ed1 went to every room at 6am and 8am every morning tomake sure evry 1 was awake
ed2 needs the sunday mass to make sure he is awake at least one day a week before 6am
and new rules get introduced even before they are broken

but how does the time one enters the hostel ever going to tell ed2 anything at all

but he still hasnt yet come to boys hostel

A big hit amidst controversies
I was just waiting for my classes to get over and go home....just to submit this post......Hei 'V' today a student of our college,my batch mate was suspended for a week framing charges for spreading the real sahrdaya community...,.Its sad that there is no evidence against him....Only thing is that he told some of his friends about this....Whats all wrong in this??He got an invitation,he joined in it....Who ever reads it knows the fact that whatever this community is saying is true and not at all fictious !! He read the posts and thus thought of showing people who were not nearby...He copied it in his usb and tonk it with him....Is there any copyright rule for this community which is owned by the sahrdaya???Huh!!He was asked to surrender the usb and when he was blamed that he deleted the content,he told that he will show it....And lo!He was charged another case that he is still having the content and he is the only one trying to spread it !

An all out attack against the community from ED2 eh?? Knew he was a coward. Once when some of our students went to some other college for some match, they met ED2's relative over there. And he had a lot of 'wonderful' things to say about him. He was like he just cant stop wondering what quality or qualification ED2 has to be made a priest, let alone the ED of a college!! I cant use the language that he used to talk about him over here.

hey fellow sahrdayans...
as one of ur sahrdayan girls and fellowmate,since ur all doing such a wonderful job of exposing the manhandling being done in our wonderful institute,i guess i can also put in my share..
now..as we r all familiar,our QB,has her 2 faithful fairies ,who we can safely say,does her dirty work for her(no puns intended whatsoever).every evening,at around,lets say...4.30ish...they slowly walk out of our hostel,and go stand next to our ex-repro to spy on us..now..from what i have heard from my oh-so-lucky non-sahrdaya friends(again sisters...friends of the SAME SEX..i dont want anyone thinking i talk to the OPPOSITE SEX..its such a sin,oh god bless me!!!),they have seen only very few people who come under this catagory...1st being our usual MLA's(mouth looking agents as they r called) or fellow mates who just want to spy on their friends so that it can become a jovial conversation in their hostel rooms..our faithful fairies also come out for spy work,but its not for the jovial nor casual conversation,oh no!!we should respect and admire them coz they r the ones who protect us girls from getting pregnant!!!dont believe me??its true..its common knowledge that any girl,who talks with a guy after 5 pm within sahrdaya campus(and let me make this clear,this magic ONLY prevails within sahrdaya grounds)becomes automatically pregnant within...i dont know..the next day or so!surprised!!dont be..its true..and these 2 absolutely godly fairies protect us from this horrible ordeal,by either telling QB,our another precious protector ED2...see how much we should be thankful to them..if they weren't there,half of us would have 2 year old children by now..they r only doing this for our good!!they were obviously the best in their class in biology coz it seems they know very well how everything works even though they r nuns,and have never or will never have the pride of becoming a mother..

Today some of our friends took action against ed2, the courage they shown was really inspiring and they did it well...
I also heard that ed2 apologized among those students...

This was happened during the very next week after our College Tour (2007)
Some of our batch mates asked ed2 for permitting them to see their tour photos in the presence of their faculty during the lunch break, They all know that ed2 won't permit them to do so because its "SAHRDAYA".
But what happened was really amazing, ed2 took their thumb drive and told them to bring their parents the very next day. The reason he stated was "Bringing these kinds of electronic items into this campus is against the Rule of this College"

After a small discussion with PR, ed2 came to know that it is used by many faculties and students for educational purposes.

I think ed2 still doesn't knows about Thumb Drives.



getting angry is a bad habit!
To get angry is to blame ur fault on others..
our ed2 & princy are masters in this art of fury.They
are like active volcanoes ready to explode unexpectedly
at anyone..at any time.They think that the student is going
out silently as a result of their sound energy..when the truth is
he/she don't want to say something that would bring their
parents to the 5* prison for saying sorry ..
In that case,i am more happy about the asst.prof in library since
he manages to keep his temper intact and reply calmly (to any question):
"Go and ask to father!".It would be a brilliant idea to replace him with a
robot who says the samething at alltime.He(the asst.proffessor cum warden)
can be allowed to sit and enjoy with his family at home..offer : we can give
him double his present salary even if we had to start a bucket campaign..
That assures less problems for our beloved college.Let the robot fulfill
his regular duties to the best of its abilities.(Sure! an idea can change ur life!)
Lack of decision making power is the major difference b/w ed1 and ed2.
Whenever some permission is required for something purely logical,then,
like a ship getting caught in the dangerous bermuda trangle,we are pushed into
the vicious,endless,tiring triangle of ed2-princy-asst.prof (library)-ed2-princy...
the output of this triangular circuit(infinite loop) is nothing but depression in the
student(s).Rules without a logic or common sense is worser than a car without
brakes.What to do..common sense is not common!
Now..dear ed2 & princy..stop shouting at the monitor like that..instead go &
stand in front of a mirror and explode..enjoy the horror film!
(suggestion: the precious time you are planning to waste in hyderabad can
be wisely used for learning yoga or meditation by visiting haridwar or varanasi..)

Sahrdaya Shutdown!!!!
The phrase associated most with the term Sahrdaya in any of our insititutions official publishings will be our motto...."Education is Dedication"
The image associated most will be the college logo.......The Flame of Knowledge...
The most remarkable sight in our main lobby i would say is the the lamp which is lit throughout..........it has always inspired me about the power of knowledge and the importance to always keep gaining it and propagating it..............
Well, here's ed2's way of doing things.........the easter holidays....sahrdaya campus is shut...shut in the sense.....absolutely shut...there will be no hostel,no canteen, no supporting staff,no security, no fairies with claws and last but never the leas no ed on the important days of easter holidays....starting from monty thursday till easter!obviously...everyone needs a holiday!!!And why bother about the dozen or more students who don't have parents or close relatives around to stay with when such a good opportunity has come!!
Comparing that to the time when ed1 was around......he used to make all those who stay back feel fine at the place ....he used to arrange trips and used to have his dinner with them.......used to be a more cheerful and friendlier person taking into consideration that they mite feel left out and lonely...even if there was no other living soul in the campus , a man would not leave the sahrdaya campus......he was ed1 n' to me he is the real ED!!!
A man who made it a point to keep his head held high when he said "Education is Dedication"

Sick on Monday? LIAR!!!
hey ppl,a new discovery in psychology n'physiology by our mangt,students of sahrdaya especially hostelers,will not actually fall sick on a day just after a holiday,they are lying if they say so,n' if in case they do fall sick,its ok,their parents can come to college instead and spend the exact time the student would,lost in the bureaucratic cycle of justin-ed2-princi-ed2
just thought about an incident when a few of my friends had gone for a placement test to satyam at aluva,it finished late on a sunday,n' so most of dem took leave on monday cos 2 days of tests had really exhausted them,when dey went to ask for leave..was usual....after running around for a while dey finally landed up in front of ed2,n' after hemade a big hue and cry alongwith his lecture on his extra terrestial philosophy,he finally gave da guys a reward for offering themselves to be inflicted with the sound pollution,he gave them a half day leave,the point is,the other half day will be still be unauthorised n' an info for all of u,it is the same amount of fine if you have a full day of unauthorised leave or half day..which is Rs50.
disappointed,tired and angry,my friend(a usually silent character and in the good books of all the people i know) blurted out,
"will i get leave if a close relative of mine dies on a monday?"
the moment he finished da question...he got dat beautiful glare from ed2(da one u can see on da faces of the quotation teams of mattanchery rather than on da face of a priest),after more than a minute of arranging his fury into legible english.....ed2 replied -
"I UNDERSTOOD UR SPIRIT,U GO OUT OF THE ROOM.....OTHERWISE IT WILL NOT BE GOOD FOR YOU!"
My friend tried to explain to him that it had really happened an he had taken a leave on the previous monday and he hadn't taken the leave yet......but by then our dear ed2 had switced his designation from a christian priest to a hindu "velichappadu"but the dialogue didnt change,afterall its our ed2's word power! God bless us all to be healthy,especially on monday!

A certain person emailed me and according to her,im doing a huge mistake.she observes that every rule in the college is for our own good and its because of my lack of a positive perspective that i am viewing things in this way.she also thinks that these rules helped our successful seniors to reach where they are now.
When i joined here,ED1 was in office.and im not lying when im saying that then,i was proud to say that i was a Sahrdaya student.even though his reign was a little dictatorial,there were a lot of,a lot of qualities in the way things were run then,which made all the other stuff 'over lookable'.i even used to engage in verbal wars with my relatives and friends taking the side of the college,when they said that the college was doing the wrong things.dear friend,from the way you write,i dont think that you are a hosteler..
After the war of independence in the girls hostel,QB was so upset that she made fuss over everything trivial.
Once,when she found two girl students sitting on the same bed,QB got furious and shouted at them for practicing 'anti natural' relationship and these students were asked to meet ED2 the next day,which they did.now,last week,when one of these students had a head ache and her friend was applying some balm over her forehead,QB stormed in and asked her 'ninte appanu thala vedanayundayal ne kude keri kidakumo..'.and when her dad came to visit her in the hostel,QB told him that if this was the way he was raising her,he would soon have to take her to b'lore(apparently for 'abortion').now,are you telling me that i should,and everyone else should try to see the positive side of this?im sorry, BUT I JUST CANT!

Now,if you have any doubt on my motives.since i began this community,people have been forwarding me links and ids of govt institutions,human rights organizations,even email id of the education minister.a lot of political and student organizations have offered their help..but all that V Has said to them is 'thank you for you support'.now,if i had any intention of harming the college and setting my own house on fire,i would have done it by now.now,dear friend,i personally admire every sensible law and rule here.but do you honestly think that these people talk with the same seriousness and responsibility that they burden up on our actions and words?do you honestly think that 'drinking water after 11oclock' will severely disturb others?


This is just a voice for the Sahrdaya students who were never heard.we are not proposing a rebellion,or a revolution that would affect ours or our juniors future.if you are a day scholar,may be you should come and stay with your class mates in the hostel and experience everything first hand,and may be later you can pass judgements.if you are already a hosteler and still honestly think the way that you mailed me,well,then,i just dont know what to say.did you notice when principal said in yesterday's assembly that 'they are considering our opinions and views on how the study leave decision will be taken'? And that class reps will be called out for letting the principal know what the class thought about it?do you think that just happened for no reason?


You say that im hiding behind a curtain and others are being victimized..i have always advised everyone to express keeping themselves anonymous.the two students were scrutinized for no reason..which again shows the injust attitude of the authority.these expressions are just calls for better treatment.when any outsider advice us on going public,we inform them that we dont have any such intentions as we have everything here.all the physical comfort anyone could ask for.but whats the point in providing a golden cage?its just ornamental.for the bird inside,its still a cage.you yourself ask your seniors if they gained anything to help them to get more matured to face life in the real sense.ED1 to an extend was successful in providing a genuine corporate atmosphere where now,things are more pretentious than ever.and like i stated before,there is a lot of difference bw pretension and adaptation.they are supposed to help us gain the skill of differentiating bw right and wrong.not choose for us,according to what they think is right and wrong,which only proves their selfish motive of 'goodness' of institution,rather than that of the students,enroute making us literally..-morons.

in light of the recent events,im starting without further literature.
on the college day,before the projection of TZP,the student was walking towards the cooler in the main lobby,while ED2 and PR walked by..and then,ED2,(and so bad his time and timing was),,without any provocation,:),started offending the student by calling him "a chimpanzee".and he even asked him why he dint join the chimpanzee dance,or whatever.(god knows,coz he is so close to god,what he meant.).but right then,PR had already felt the inappropriate behavior of ED2,and made a point in apologizing to the student,almost twice.then,when the student returned to his friends and narrated the incident to them,they all decided to let HE Bishop,know about what happened.so all his classmates gathered outside and waited for the bishop,meanwhile preparing a letter,with a sheet with the signature of all the classmates attached to hand over to the bishop.as soon as the Bishop came down from the meeting,everyone moved towards him and asked him if they could meet with him in private.and ED2 had already felt the heat rising and started apologizing to the student,while also asking him,not to make an issue out of it.but as this wasn't the first time it had happened,they demanded a public apology.and while the students reached the main lobby,the president of the college and the bishop were inquiring about what the problem was and Bishop and another father asked the president to meet the students in private.then,the president met with around 12 students in the room adjacent to ED2`s room and they narrated a lot of incidents,and while this alarmed the president,he asked the other students who were outside to come inside if they had any complaints.the students informed him about the problems in the hostel,about the green room incidents,etc etc.the president was shocked to here about this and promised the students that he will come every Thursday,to inquire about student welfare and he promised that he will be talking to staff as well.

actually,the president has to come about once every week to inquire about students and staff welfare.but since last September,he was not coming.he gave the assurance that he will come on every Thursday now onwards.
(i want to thank a friend for providing accurate information written on this issue).


now,how can,the head of such a "prestigious" institution "behave" in such a way?okey,we can all understand if the person was in really good terms with the students and was just teasing for fun,but no, we know that that wasn't the case.and this wasnt the first time it happened.
the authority of the college had an assumption that whatever they did and said,they did not have to worry about how the student community would react to it.they took the student community for granted and there,they did a huge mistake.when all the doors are closed down,its inevitable that one will remain open and it did remain open.it was just plain bad timing(for him) that he did this.under-estimating us,and that too to this extend,and now he is reaping wht he saw.he actually thought that ED1 was running the college on plain blind rules and without any real hard work,and now,with the assistance of virtually useless incompetent advisers,he too could do it too...and this is what you get if you think that running a multi-crore professional institution with a 1000 students and 250 staff is a piece of cake.do not under estimate your job and take it in a cavalier way,ED2..-this is what you will get.

ED1 survived here because of his brilliant organizational skill and dedication beyond comprehension.and do not think that this is easy.it just doesn't come that way.what ever and how ever you might have done till now,this business is different.so learn knew tricks to play this game.running a church,and running a professional institution,how similar though it might sound to you,it really isnt that similar.understand and learn the way to run a technical institution.you are not running a seminary,or a nunnery,or an asylum for students with "co ordination" problems.you are running a place where around a 1000 individuals,all of the age 19-25 live and learn how to live.the way we think might be a little different than those who have supposedly "dedicated" their life to serve humanity and the lord.and we don't plan on wearing white holy clothes to work.you are supposed to instill in us the power of decision making.not turn us into morons who have to ask permission to even go to the toilet "during study time".
you might and you are trying to justify all what you are doing by saying tht this is for the welfare of the college.now,who are you,actually referring to when you are talking about the "college"?coz its definitely not the students,coz,i don't think besides the ability to hate where we are staying,we students haven't really gained anything by following your ridiculous miserable rules.or do you mean the faculty?oh,then you might be correct.because the faculty seems to love working here.and they just think that there is no where else in the world they wanna be :).so you don't mean the faculty.so,who else do you mean by using the word "college"?

this is about an incident that happened in the "boys`" hostel.three students were caught playing chess.and as this was a "punishable" offence,the students were called into ED2`s suit and questioned about their malpractice in presence of JN.as the conversation is hilarious,im giving it here just like that.

ed1: why u were playing chess?
reply: we were a bit bored after studies..for some relaxation we played chess..morover,it was'nt even the study time.
ed1(angry):so what..now you would play chess and soon you would start smoking ciggarates!what else u used to do for
relaxation(sarcastically)?
reply:i used to play su-do-ku..
ed1(surprised):what! see JN ..these "children" are doing sudoku..that too in this hostel!
JN:What is wrong with u?Who gave u the permission to do that?
It took an hour for them to teach them what su-do-ku is!they were banned from playing chess or sudoku or any such mental
games.When i asked about playing chess/sudoku alone,then ed2 replied:these are the symptoms of mental people..
when u repeat that,i will definitely send u to oolenpara..surrender the chess board right now!


JN sir added one more rule:
"Extra reading(books absent in the syllabus) is permitted only in the library!"


this is what happens when you put the responsibility of running an institution into the hands of some incompetent ("u fill up")s.

what an !!!! i can barely control my laughter here!

this is something about faculty ill-treatment.
The ratings given to the faculties are strictly based on their relation with the management
and not on students feedback.The management had recently given "good" rating to all
teachers with M.tech and "satisfactory" to all freshers(b.tech's).The respected Hod of B.T,
inspite of having good feedback as well as an excellent calibre was given only an insulting
"satisfactory" grade by the management.Reason:DIERTCER visits the college once in a
year like the santa claus and brings out illogical ideas as gifts.On his last visit,he made a new
rule: Faculties should submit some kind of quality research papers(inspite of all the burdens
embossed on them).It was only the experienced HOD who had the guts to express his opinion
regarding the rule ,opposing it with 100% reasonable logic.His reaction agitated the management,
they in turn insulted him in front of his colleagues with such a low rating.Only one person was
given an "excellent" rating->none other than Mr.JN(Asst.Prof. of Library sciences!).
The management is fully satisfied with his rubberised backbone.

may be a rubberised backbone is the prerequisite of a professional,according to these people..




here is something more from some feedbacks.
"once upon a time..we found a brochure on the emage
notice board regarding a quiz competition at )a different( college.Two of us contacted JN
to show our interest to take part in the quiz.His famous reply:"there would be many things in
the notice board.When you are bringing such silly things into our notice,the problem begins!"
Inspite of knowing about our genuine interest and prizes won in the college..he asked us to
produce the certificates.When that barrier was cleared..he told us that there would be plenty
of students like us waiting eagerly to take part in the particular quiz..i can allow only a single team,
i mean the best team to take part in it(as per the silly brochure,any number of teams were allowed to participate)..so how can i show them partiality!(oh my mother of holy rosary..what a man of justice!)when we were somehow able to convince him that none are really bothered abt the quiz,he made the next barrier-formallities-> "noc" from parents,"recommendation" of a faculty ,forwarded by hod to the librarian,to be signed by the principal,if permitted by ed2 as hostel warden..Since we were determined to take part in the quiz,within 2 days,we were able to fulfill these formallities.With 7 signatures in a letter written in a A4 paper..we were ready to go..then JN sir asked us to take a current affairs book(worth rs.5) to read it while travelling..well & good,we took it happily.there were 27 colleges present for the quiz around 55teams, we were able to reach the 8th postion,only first 5 were qualified for finals..the small book was accidently taken by my teammate to his home..it was a friday..on monday,when i returnrd the book..i had a
shock!


!..the book was an overnight issue,the fine is imposed per hour, the amount : rs.1024 !! when i asked JN sir for some reduction,he said rules are rules..i went to contact PR,he asked me to pay double the price of book,not even asking abt the price..so i paid rs.10 and was asked to write a letter of first & last xcuse for their future weapon of evidence against me."

due to the continuous use of the term cyber crime,these days in the campus,i have decided to write something about that.
through out the forum,i have explained that
1.it is not my intention to offend,hurt or defame anybody,or any institution,especially mine.
2.i have used and tried to maintain(when about the posts posted in the community by others),the accepted norms of decency and moral values.
3.i have never posted abusive script,or private information.and whenever a questionable posting has come to my attention,i have deleted the certain posting,and always advocated use of decent language and have advised in my forums to avoid foul,offensive or morally,socially and legally under-rated language.
4.i have never posted any gossips,rumors,or information thats not true.
5.all the incidents narrated in the posts is true to my knowledge.


i would also like to ask my friends not to create IDs and profiles with names of anybody,and posting offensive script about them.respect the law.

every word,statement,sentence and information in the scripts posted by me has one and only one intention.to get the love,respect and the dignity the great country of India guarantees its citizens.for our basic rights the authority denies by bringing "rules".

i have never called for any kind of a rebellion and always asked my friends through the community to follow the rules,as we have all signed a document saying that "we will not resort to any kind of a rebellion" in the campus and "will obey every rule" deviced by the authority,failure of which will authorize the management for immediate removal from the institution.my motive was to create an outlet for the students and the faculty for expression of their feeling,and to let parents of the students know about our life here,and the frustrating and undignifying attitude of the authorities towards students,parents and the faculty.
everything in the community is nothing but the "talked about" stuff in the institution,which most of the students know.but our parents sent us here,for our well fare and they pay a great deal of money,for it.but the treatment we get here is literally,"sad",when compared to any other educational institution,let it be professional or academic.is wanting respect, a crime?

through out my life here at sahrdaya,i have been treated like a convict.by the authority and the "supporting staff",who are the only people who has a comfortable working atmosphere here.

with my meagre knowledge of law and what rights i have,i swear and promise in the name of god almighty that my motives where never in the defamation of the college,or any individuals involved with it.

this is just a cry for help so that we can have our professional education as a time that we can all remember,rather than one that,like all my passed out seniours,a time that they are sorry for and deeply dispised.

to respected ED2,
i have nothing personal against ED2.no motive of a revenge,or a vendetta,or i am not taking this as an action that would help me with one.please recognize and identify this as what it is.
its a request that the students are sending to you.please treat us like human beings who have feelings and emotions.we promise you that we will be a 200% more efficient student community that would be working our heart out for the glory of the prestigious institution.your placement figures will be doubled.your class averages will go higher.make teachers happy.an institution,especially an educational institution is known for its teachers.with the pressure you are putting on them and the working atmosphere you are providing for them,you can be sure that they wont be working to their potential,and this will for sure degrade the standard of this institution.please respect them,sir.for they are doing a holy profession.teachers are "social engineers".they engineer the youth into a well oiled machinery that will work for the development of the country in a hormony which can never be executed by any other individual.please please,respect their intellect,their emotion,their health.sahrdaya college of engineering and technology should be known for its excellent faculty not for its cams.its wonderful atmosphere for the students to turn into a respected professional.not a retarded moron.and following your own vision and mission statement in the right sense can bring about all the changes.please fabricate rules based on time,condition and need.rules in the indian constitution were written for the safety,comfort,and welfare of the nation of india and its people.not for the convinience of the writers of the constitution or the ruling body.

your effort to establish a "corporate" atmosphere is well appreciated,but there is a limit to which one should try that.how much ever you do it,this is still a college.where students of the age group 18-24 comes to study,and live.respect their emotions and feelings.their needs are not limited to computers or petridishes or transistors and bread boards in the lab.now,even the huge corporates are re organising their structure and working atmosphere to enhance the productivity of their staff.it means-making the office a happy place so that the staff will feel like giving a 100% to the company,which only will increase the prestige and reputation of the company.if you have any kind of a doubt about what im saying,call up companies and ask them on staff policies.and,even if any company says that they dont ever care what their staff and employees feel,ask them about the restrictions they keep when the staff goes home.ie,when your students go to their hostels where they stay.they are not permitted to sing,to hum,or to wistle..in the boys(men`s) and the girls(women`s) hostel.they are suffocated by these so called "rules",which is now the term used in the institution to legalise every breach of human right.if you keep spoonfeeding us with your powerpoint slides,no matter how much they might help us in getting marks,they will never help us in becoming good engineers.so liberalize a little bit so that students can refer library and use the infrastructure when ever they want to.this is how its done in normal colleges.not just in the one-hour-a-week "reference library" period.yes,students are permitted to use till 7,but what about dayscholars?our college is not in the middle of a city,that they will have conveyence to get home.
this is for our mutual good.you will see wonderful changes with time.so please please,for the sake of welfare of the students and faculty,please liberalize.

if none of this is convicing for you,atleast thinking about that God we worship every day.
after all,every religion in the world preaches only one thing-love and respect for all living beings...
please shed your egoes and start changing.and sir,you can be much better than ED1 that way,and be remembered by all the batches to come,as the man who changed sahrdaya engineering college into a place where students are eager to come and live,to learn,where the companies recruit students for their smartness,intellect and personality and producitvity and individuality...not because the placement department uses its contacts to drag them here..
you ask us to be creative.but asking a chained painter to draw,a suffocated singer to sing,and a tied swimmer to swim,can come of no use.may be they painter will do two strokes,the singer will sing few notes and the swimmer may go a few feet,but we all know what to expect from them with time.

you keep repeating that we engineers are the leaders,who will build the nation a new face,we engineers are creaters,but still,you enforce your decisions on us,and punish us if we even violate a simple rule such as "sit on the snack bar slab",coz we were a little tired,or,we sit on the stairs and talk to our friends..).but leaders are supposed to be decision makers.but as long s i acn remember,the only..decision that i have had to take after coming here is what to buy frim the snack bar.(it was really hard at first,but then i picked up.man,that decision making can really tire you...)

sahrdaya engineering college-a student friendly college...is it really an un-attainable dream?and the saddest thing is-only one single person has to take an effort in making our college a college like that,but all his efforts are in the opposite direction.

pretention is a lot different than adaptation,sir,and if you sit and think about it,im sure you will feel the same way too.

we are all ready to follow rules.but make them sensible,and benificial.
not sadistic and ridiculus.
dicipline for the sake of dcipline,compromising the character,morals and the rights of the students is ethically unacceptable.

when setting up rules,you are actually limiting our ability and freedom to use our potential.we(students and faculty) are not emotionless machines,for gods sake,to work just inside the cabinets you provide for us to be shut in.

at the time of joining.they are required to give a written consent that during their course of work in sahrdaya,they will not ask or want a raise no matter how long they work in this institution.the ED2 asks them to be punctual while he is either absent or atleast 20 minutes late for every meeting.the faculty have no voice at all,even during the meeting that are called for them.even HODs are humiliated and mocked in front of the sub-ordinates and non-teaching staff or the office staff.the faculty has no right of opinion,and if expressed,are insulted by a cheap comment or joke.the only person the faculty can approach is their HODs but there is very less the HOD can do.principal obviously has no power.every single faculty does the job of 3 staffs,while the renumeration they get is way below their efforts.their efforts are not appreciated,but degraded.

do you know that every lab has a post of "lab-assistent"?but in sahrdaya,can you find any?do you know who does their work?what kind of college are they running? a "low-budget" one?so how DO you spent all our money?!

the faculty has no motivation or appreciation for doing a good job.most of them stay here only coz of some unavoidable reason....
And respected ED2,stop trying to convince yourself and us by talking about the feeding and facility providence and so all this ill-treatment is justified.its like telling a caged bird to be happy coz its cage is of gold...

A faculty informed me that the staff meeting on thursday from 4 to 5 which was supposedly called for a faculty evaluation was actually for ED2 to plead for faculty support and for asking them to be on his side in fighting the 'cyber crime' that is real Sahrdaya community and forum.the faculty also said that the tiny bit of respect they had for his position and as a person was gone after this.

Respect

this one thing i dont understand is,is it so hard to just "respect us students"......??after everything you put us through,dont you think we have the right for it? a little respect? you are taking all these effort to supposedly send a team to hydrabad,to Google`s office to close down this community,and to find me.and when you do,dismiss me,for saying out some truths aloud?after all,you are all priests of a great religion.im sure u will do the right thing.
would it have taken half the effort to just give us some love,some respect.

out of the million times ED2 and ED2.5 has taken the effort in shouting at you for keeping your ID card in the pocket,how many times have they inquired about your wellbeing?your happiness,your family?
and wanting them makes me a "criminal"...........how can somebody not laugh at this?

i got a feed back that one student was restricted from coming down from her room,as QB commanded majestically that "you are not supposed to fill water after 9".like i said,im not judging.you do it.

now let me ask you.out of the parents reading this,how many of you will call up ED2 and ask him why the poor boy was suspended.7 times 250 Rs of his parents has no value at all?they enrolled him so that the authority can play games with their child`s life?

out of the injustice put up with us,the only time we students have expressed our discontent is when the "fine" menace had gotten out of hand at the ED1`s reign(at that time,students at hostel had to pay huge amount of money as fine if they visited their friend`s room asking for their books or to borrow a pen),and the second time was when they restricted students from the "girl`s" hostel to go home.all the other time,when ever and wherever you felt apt,you made rules.some times for the most stupid of reasons.and we,never went for a strike or any destructive routine.we suffered and beared them.

and to ED2,congrats.you have transformed students into such defenseless "prathikaranasheshiyillatha " individuals,that once the news spread about the "suspension",or "restriction" from entering your your class or how ever you wanna call it,the membership in the community has come down to 22 from 40(which was just 40 not because they dint want to join,but they wer just scared)cant blame them.if they can suspend a student for carrying a thumb drive with this script,they sure can suspend ,or call the parents of the fourty of them,and take them thru the procedure of threatening them with a TC.and the rest cant unjoin because the site has been blocked in the college.but did you know that over 300 people visited the community in 5 days?and another 500 read thru the script?(including faculty).to the parents,so,still think what im writing are baseless lies,if i will gt such a huge response?will the college take the effort to shut down an internet site because a "misguided" student posted some "crap"?u judge.

and to ED2,in the name of god,i know that what im writing is the truth.no matter how much you cover it up,it will spread.thru thumbs,thru emails,thru blogs,phone calls,letters and conversations.you would have to shut down the whole communication system and put us in individual dark cells to prevent that.i still cant imagine and digest why you will take this much effort regarding this.if you say that im insulting my home,why cant you make it feel like home?
give us a little respect.a little love.treat us like adults.

think of who is running around with their adrenaline pumping.us......or them.

to my fellow friends.
we are all loved children of our parents.we joined this institution so that we can grow into respected individuals in the community.but they treat us this way saying that this is how it is going to be in the places that we are going to live.so i ask you to respect yourself.we all have lost that sense of self respect that how ever badly we are treated by our authority,we dont have any problem.that will change only if you start respecting yourself.when you are in a position that you have t take decisions,about your family,about your profession,career,this is an important thing.

to the parents.you might be wondering why im still going on about "authority" treating us bad,but still not narrating much about it,just think back to the tme when your child kept telling you about all this,but you wouldnt listen and they stopped.

"girls" hostellers were asked to wash the floor of their rooms,with soap,water and scrubbers,the night before their model exams.

everytime a student comes and stands in the grilled corridors of the hostel,the superviser will come and ask why we are standing there,and send them to their rooms,or write their names and give it to ED2,so that they will have the pleasure of meeting him the next morning.

V at the girls hostel cannot keep our doors closed.during day or night,even when the CMC staff is in the building.

from a feedback-
a married-pregnant student in the girls hostel is denied the permission to take food upto her room in the hostel by QB.reason-if they dont wash and keep the plate clean,it may smell.so now she doesnt have dinner,so as to avoid climbing the stairs.
when asked for a room downstairs to avoid climbing the stairs,QB informed her that she can share a room with some senior student in the downfloor,whom,she doesnt really know and who really dint know her.when she asked if she could move down with her roommates,who she was sure will take care of her properly,she was answered with a no.

if a pregnant student is treated this way,do i even have to write more....??
